Dance4 is looking to recruit a Youth Dance Intern to assist with the overall administrative process of U.Dance in the East Midlands. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to handle admissions, support the decision-making process, attend live performance events and help with marketing.
Led nationally by One Dance UK, U.Dance provides performance opportunities for young people aged between 11 – 19 and up to 24 if the young person has disabilities. Performance platforms are held in professional venues across the East Midlands and showcase the highest quality youth dance work, progressing from county events to a national annual festival, U.Dance 2019.
This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in the dance sector, who would like more experience in administration and office work, who has an interest in youth dance and has, or is considering, completing a dance degree.
This is a paid opportunity and the chosen candidate will work on a freelance basis from November 2018-March 2019, further details regarding dates are included in the person specification.
