One Dance UK are looking for young people to be part of Young Creatives 2019. The national programme managed in partnership with the Royal Opera House and Rambert aims to give young people a platform to present their own work and develop their choreographic skills.

The project is for young people aged 15 to 19 (or up to 25 if you’re disabled) who want to make a dance piece with between one and five dancers. The piece can be any style and no previous experience is necessary,  there is no charge to take part.

Young Creatives 2019 will include:

  • The chance to work with your own choreographic mentor who will support you to develop your piece from initial idea or work-in-progress through to finished product through feedback and support
  • Classes, workshops and rehearsals at Rambert
  • The opportunity to perform your work informally at the LinburyTheatre, Royal Opera House
  • A special performance at U.Dance 2019 where you have chance to present your finished work at Southbank Centre as part of the national youth dance festival!

Application deadline is 15 April 2019.
