Bernie Hayter is a retired drama teacher, writer and maker of all things sewn and knitted. Mother to Dance4 team member Rebecca Streets, Bernie regularly creates unique items for her grandchildren and family.
She has created a range of handmade gifts made from recycled materials to help support the For Studio4 fundraising. If you would like to own one of these beautifully crafted bespoke pieces you can make a suggested donation for each item highlighted below. Items can be collected from Dance4’s international Centre For Choreography. Bernie is happy to take orders for specific items but stresses that as all materials are sourced second hand so colours and patterns may vary.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner on the 11 March these would make ideal gifts.
Bernie says: I am delighted to be supporting Dance4’s fundraising efforts to support the Dance4 in the Park event in King Edward Park. I love taking my grandchildren to experience new and exciting events in the outdoors and it sounds like there will be something for the whole family. It’s best to use whatever skills you have to help raise money, so I thought I would make things to help support the fundraising which will inevitably help make the event a really brilliant day.
If you would like to own one of these items please contact Rebecca Streets or call the Dance4 office on 0115 9242016.
