If you’re a dance artist/maker, get in touch with Rachel Elderkin to receive DYCP grant-funded dramaturgy support during your creative process.
Rachel is looking to work with artists who will be in a creative process during 2021 and who consider dance or the moving body central to their creative practice. Each artist will receive three sessions of dramaturgy support, tailored to their individual creative requirements.
Rachel is particularly interested in connecting with projects that work collaboratively across art forms, or artists creating dance theatre or work for unconventional settings. If you feel your work would benefit from the support of a dramaturg but doesn’t necessarily fit into these frames, please do also get in touch.
If you are interested in working with Rachel, please send:
– A short introduction to yourself and your project, including why you feel you would benefit from
– The dates of your creative process and where this will be based
– What stage your project is at and whether your work is funded and/or has any performances scheduled.
– A CV/website or links to past work are welcomed, if available
Please send this to [email protected] with the subject line ‘DRAMATURGY SUPPORT’ by Saturday 14 August.
As part of her DYCP funding, Rachel is able to offer these sessions at no cost to the artist (artists based outside of London or Nottingham may need to contribute to travel expenses). Rachel will be mentored throughout the process by dramaturg Neus Gil Cortes.
