This video installation sees Quentin Crisp’s enduring expressions in conversation with Stamos’ nude offering of casual sexuality, revealing a dialogue between bodies outside the aesthetics of popular culture or morality.

The Waiting Room celebrates how Crisp’s power existed not only in his witty tongue and effeminate appearance but also in his patience, grace and curiosity.  The Waiting Room is a tribute to Quentin Crisp, an evoking of Stamos’ former self as a go-go boy and a dispelling of shame.

This project  was screened at Broadway Cinema as part of neat16, a festival of Nottingham’s rich cultural programme that celebrates UNESCO City of Literature status.  Culture takes centre stage as we platform some of the finest dance, art, children’s theatre, drama, music, cinema and literature.
