In Renaissance Sally  challenges the preconception that improvised dance performance is generally performed in small, intimate venues by making it for larger theatre spaces.

With financial support from Arts Council England, Dance4 and DMU, Sally has researched improvised interdisciplinary performance work using graphic and choreographic scores in collaboration with internationally recognised artists: dancer Pete Shenton; composer Dr. Craig Vear and musicians Audrey Riley and James Woodrow.
The performance, Renaissance, has been tested and previewed at Nottingham Playhouse (July 2016) to an invited audience with the ambition to perform nationally and internationally.Commissioned by Dance4 supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, and with support from De Montfort University.
