Odori-Dawns-Dance: Forest and Clearing is a new project by choreographer Sioned Huws, performed by community participants alongside Japanese artists Reina Kimura and Honami Shimizu.
Odori-Dawns-Dance: Forest and Clearing explores a sense of place to reveal the poetry of dance and community as a large family, the situations and the friendships. Individuals will be asked to share photographs and physical memories of people and place, and from this collaboratively form rituals alongside traditional, modern and post modern Japanese movement.
This project was perfomed as part of Nottdance 2017.
