Present Resonances is born out of a deep interest in resonance, both as a sonic phenomenon and metaphor for how we understand what lingers in a body.
Neil and Simone join us for a remote residency throughout January and February.
Sound is made through movement and this project will explore how bodies create sound and resonate in the surrounding environment. This research will begin to create three new pieces adaptable for both indoor and outdoor contexts, that can be presented alongside each other or as stand-alone works.
This work is supported by Dance4 and Yorkshire Dance.
