Between 12 – 18 November 2018 Dance Artist Kimberley Harvey will be in residence at Dance4. During her time in our building she will be developing Subtle Kraft Co’s work ‘Inky Matter‘ which explore the relationship between movement and writing.

Kimberley is co-founder of inclusive dance company, Subtle Kraft Co. Subtle Kraft Co is an inclusive contemporary dance company where movement is an expression of enjoyment, communication and humanity. The company create and present work where relationships and their complexities are explored from many perspectives. Kimberley is a Candoco Artist as well as a freelance performer and teacher. Her work has seen her perform, tour and teach for Sarah Blanc’s company, Moxie Brawl.

Throughout the residency Kimberley will be leading a series of workshops focused on ‘Inky Matter’ including a workshop for children aged 6 + and their parents or carers and one for 0 – 5 year olds and their parents or carers. The ideas explored throughout these workshops will influence the work which will be performed at Attenborough Art Centre on Saturday 17 November.  Kimberley will be leading a workshop for families between 11AM – 1PM at Attenborough Arts prior to the performance at 6PM.

In addition Kimberley will spend Sunday 18 November back at iC4C, working with dance artist Sally Doughty, exploring their mutual interest in improvisational scores where Kimberley will share excerpts from ‘Inky Matter’.
