In Do-Re-Me, two figures wrapped around each other and within swathes of black fabric negotiate a path around the gallery.

Creating a mass that is both intensely familiar and strange, its fragmented limbs flail and reach for movement, continually destabilising and transforming the integrity of the body’s form. The performers’ physically enmeshed actions playfully provoke shifts in relation between people, material and place without resolution.

This event is part of neat16, a festival of Nottingham’s rich cultural programme that celebrates UNESCO City of Literature status.  Culture takes centre stage as we platform some of the finest dance, art, children’s theatre, drama, music, cinema and literature.
