On Tuesday 9 October Dance4 will be hosting a Primary Teacher Dance Training Workshop with dance artist Jennifer Manderson. Jennifer runs Dance4’s regular creative dance programme, Jump Start aimed at children aged 7-11 (Key Stage 2).

As part of our continuing commitment to support the teaching workforce, we are inviting individuals who teach within primary education settings an opportunity to attend this motivating workshop at Dance4’s international Centre for Choreography. The session will explore a range of creative dance ideas for teachers to take back into their own settings and inspire the young people they work with.

Here’s what some of the teachers who attended last year had to say:

“The workshop provided great variety and suggestions for different needs of children/ages”

“An excellent workshop cram-packed with ideas I can use with my classes, thank you”

“Some really useful warm-up tasks and how to extend these into ideas for choreography”

“This workshop exceeded my expectations, well-pitched and a useful handout to take away”

Advanced booking is essential. Tickets are £5 and will include refreshments.
