Katherine Hall is in residence at Dance4 between 2-11 October 2018 and will be performing her work, You Sit There on Thursday 4 October following our Macmillan Coffee morning. The work explores joys and tensions that exist in the attempt to give and receive care in a society that continues to devalue such labour.

Following the performance Katherine will continue to explore ideas and themes of the work during a free workshop for Carers on Wednesday 10 October. The workshop will be an opportunity for Carers, to share their own stories about care and explore ideas through simple movement and conversations. Participants will be offered a free lunch or can bring thier own if they wish.

Katherine will also be leading a professional release-based class exploring gesture through relational and sculptural movement on Monday 8 October.  Watch a trailer of You Sit There. Book a free ticket for the performance or workshop here.
