The International Briefing: Hong Kong panel discussion took place on Wednesday 13 October 2021, exploring the local art scene in Hong Kong with industry experts.

Too often international touring only allows the briefest experience of a place and doesn’t leave much time to connect to the people or cultures. This panel discussion is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to be an artist or producer in Hong Kong and how it differs to the UK, to ensure you’re in the know before you go.

Panel includes:

– Timothy Wong, Acting Head of Arts & Creative Industries, British Council

– Jacob Yu, Artistic Creative Director, Theatre Space

– Grace Yang, Programme Director at Hong Kong Arts Festival

– Paul Tam, Executive Director Performing Arts, West Kowloon Cultural Centre
