Dance4’s new international Centre for Choreography (iC4C) is an exemplar creative facility from which Dance4 invests in artists’ practice and delivers specialist support and space for the research, production and distribution of new choreographic work.
The centre supports research and creative collaboration between people, spaces and places. It hosts international and UK artists and the public as participants, makers and commentators in order to create extraordinary experiences for all.
iC4C provides a home for artist residencies, occasional public events and also our learning and professional development programmes.
The centre offers three state of the art dance studios, alongside meeting, networking spaces and other facilities. See Hires for more details and hire information and Contact for location and directions.
iC4C was developed using public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England with further support from Nottingham City Council, WREN, Garfield Weston Foundation, J N Derbyshire Trust, The Idlewild Trust, The Jessie Spencer Trust, Clarke’s of Nottingham, GDS and Centre Stage Engineering. We would also like to thank David Stewart OBE and Christopher and Julia Barron for their significant support of this project and our many other donors and supporters.
