In partnership with Creative Access, Dance4 is looking to recruit a Festival Assistant for a 3-month paid internship. The role is only open to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates in order to support diversification of the creative industries workforce. The Festival Assistant role will support the organisation and marketing of the 2019 Nottdance Festival, as well as helping with the delivery of Dance4’s artistic, learning and public engagement programmes. The internship will start on Monday 22 July followed by an induction with Creative Access on Thursday 25 July. You must be available to work on all festival dates from 9-13 October and should not be in education at the time of the internship.
In addition to gaining professional experience in the creative sector, the successful candidate will also benefit from Creative Access’ Intern Support programme, including an induction training day and masterclasses with senior BAME industry leaders.
The 3-month training fee for the internship is £4002 and is not subject to tax and National Insurance deductions.
