As part of her 4-week residency at iC4C Evangelia Kolyra will be sharing her process as she develops new work B-ee-p.
B-ee-p brings movement and language together in a non-conventional way to create a rich visual and acoustic environment. Language becomes music and language becomes movement. The musicality of the sounds combined with the interpretation of abstract and familiar body movements creates a new alphabet that gradually develops into a multi-layered narrative of movement and text. The audience is invited to peer into a parallel world where the relationship between language, sound and text has been reimagined.
