Self-authoring through creative practices.
A series of workshops by Alethia Antonia taking place across Sundays in November, 4 till 6pm.
Bringing together Black womxn from Nottingham, London and Leeds, these workshops will be a collective experience to explore self-authoring through creative practices. Using movement, voice and writing practices, the workshops will focus on allowing participants to develop ways of expressing their own stories and build connections with other Black womxn through the work. The workshops will link closely to the themes and practices used in Alethia’s solo work Inscribed in ‘Me’, around self-authoring, trauma and healing.
Participants will also receive exclusive access to footage of the solo, Inscribed in “Me”.

Who is this workshop for?
Black womxn aged 18 and over who have none to limited dance experience from Nottingham, London or Leeds.
Workshops will take place on Sunday 14, 21, 28 November 2021, 4-6pm
To join, attendance is recommended at each of the workshops. Your booking will secure your space for all 3 workshops.
