Join the conversation with women of all ages for Rachel Elderkin’s research, exploring the stories women carry throughout their lives – sometimes personally, sometimes as shared experiences. Rachel will be in residence at iC4C from Monday 23 August to Friday 3 September.
notes on disappearance is a project about the stories we don’t tell. What stories do we choose to share and which stories are never told? How do those stories impact our lives? Where do those stories rest in our bodies?
Rachel would like to invite women to connect with the project by joining her in a one-to-one conversation or by writing a letter leading up to and throughout her residency. She hopes to offer a space for women to have conversations and connect with each other – to share their own stories.
More information about this residency and how to get involved can be found here.
Rachel is also offering a dramaturgy support opportunity and is looking to work with artists who will be in a creative process during 2021 and who consider dance or the moving body central to their creative practice. More information about this opportunity here.
