MY DANCE CHALLENGE
The MY Dance Challenge saw young people across the region take on the challenge choreographed by Jamaal Burkmar of Extended Play Dance. The video is a collation of the submissions we received sharing the creativity of the young dancers from across the Midlands.
Thank you to everyone who took part, it’s been wonderful to watch the creativity of young dancers across the Midlands take this choreography and put their own creative twist on it. Thank you as well to those that shared their version on social media using our hashtag #MYDancechallenge. We hope you all enjoy MY Challenge video premiering from 7pm. You will be able to watch the video on this page (above) on the day.
MY DANCE SELECTIONS SHOWCASE
A huge thank and well done to all groups and group leaders that applied to our regional U.Dance platform, MY Dance. We did things a little different this year, not just moving the platform online but joining with DanceXchange to join the East and West Midlands together. We received a great number of applications and would like to say congratulations to those selected for MY Dance.
