What does your shadow look like?
Have you said hello to your shadow today?
Have you danced with your shadow?
What makes our shadow?
How does our shadow change over time or with light?

Through the guided session you will look at your shadow. It’s something that’s always there whether it’s small or large and take it with you everywhere you go. Can it do more than just follow us around? With friends and family, you’ll play with your shadow, looking at different ways you can create a shadow, it’s size, shape and how you can have fun with your shadow.  You’ll dance, run, jump and draw with your shadow and even try to escape from it.

This forms part of Leila’s current research for new work, Curl of hair, investigating the notion of duality. After the session parents and carers are invited to have a chat with Leila about their experience of duality within the role of parenthood.

This workshop is ideal for those who ordinarily attend Little Movers and those aged 0 to 5, their parents and other family members.

The price per session is £5 or £3 if you have a postcode from the Sneinton or St. Ann’s areas. There is no limit to the number of children per family.

No booking required.
