**THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED**
Leila McMillan invites mothers into the studio during her residency to discuss identity around motherhood.
Leila McMillan is a dancer and choreographer who will be in residence at Dance4’s iC4C researching ideas around her project Curl of Hair. As part of her residency Leila invites you to discuss your own experiences of duality within your identity roles of motherhood.
As a recent mother, Leila has found herself in situations of duality whether this be in the roles we hold, identities or general day to day life. The has made her reflect and question the role of duality we play as mothers. You may be new to motherhood, very experienced, or at the beginning of developing your identity beyond motherhood.
There will be a combination of talking, drawing and writing in relation to the themes of this research. Children are welcome to join you and there will be tea and cake.
This is a FREE event however please book your space for each individual attending with you including babies and young children. You are also able to just turn up on the day.
