During a 3 week residency at iC4C Hannah Buckley will be developing a new solo called, ‘The Mountain and Other Tales of She Transformed’ reflecting on the statement ‘feminism as the female command of space’ – the many things this could mean and the many ways it could manifest. The solo is inspired by mountains, fairytales and a 1970s body work book for women.
As part of her research Hannah will be running 3 workshops. One for female / non binary people of all ages. Two for female / non binary teenagers. All workshops will explore the themes of the solo and ‘doing less’ as a form of resistance and female empowerment.
