Leila McMillan will be offering a ‘Daily Lab’ open to dance artists within the East Midlands between Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 April, 10am to 12pm on each of the three days.
The Daily Labs will allow you to experience Leila’s daily practice in connection to the research of her work Curl of Hair.
Leila will use Flying Low technique to heat the body, and will work with a series of improvisational tasks which will engage with physical and emotional states, speed, change, transformation and the command of your full body passing through solo, duo and group setups. There will be a combination of movement, drawing and writing in relation to themes of the research.
