We are delighted to host all six of this years selected artists at iC4C from Monday 4 to Friday 15 October. UK-based artists Emma Lewis-Jones and Victor Fung will work alongside Pontus Linder (FI), Hannah Sampé (DE), Agnetha Jaunich (DE) and Jija Sohn (NL).
There will also be a 2-day partners summit welcoming project partners to iC4C to continue exploring crossover themes, hear from experts and develop a shared understanding of the practice of community engagement in dance.
CROWD is the Goethe-Institut’s international dance residency programme developed together with European partners in a time when we feel that international sharing and human connection is needed more than ever. This research programme aims to support dance artists with an established practice in community engaged dance making.
You can find out more about their ongoing research on the project blog here.
The CROWD partnership is made up of funders and partners:
Arts Council England (UK), NRW KULTURsekretariat (DE), Dansateliers (NL), TaikaBox (FI), TanzFaktur (DE), Pottporus (DE) The Work Room (UK) and Dance4 (UK) working with the Goethe-Institut.
