Artistic Director of Neon Dance, Adrienne Hart invites you to join her in conversation with Jonathan Hale, Architect and Professor of Architectural Theory at University of Nottingham to reflect on her practice based work and recent project Puzzle Creature, and thoughts about her research into the development of her new work Prehension Blooms.

Prehension Blooms is a new contemporary dance work by Adrienne Hart that attempts to explore the complexity of human relationships with material things, and how societies maintain and sustain material worlds, gradually becoming co-dependent in interwoven ways.

Following her recent experience in rural Japan developing work for Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale and Setouchi Art Triennale and time researching at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, Adrienne is currently exploring ideas around loneliness as a symptom of modernity. Developing these ideas, she has recently completed a residency at SWCTN Porthmeor Studios, St.Ives and continues her research as part of a three day residency at Dance4.
