Grants, Bursaries & Fees2019-05-03T10:11:31+01:00

Grants are available from the Department for Education’s Music and Dance Scheme for students who qualify for the scheme through audition. This support will be means tested and based upon parental income.

We will work with all successful applicants to identify available government funded grants and financial support for travel and dance wear. The full cost of the course per student is currently £3,798 per year.

You will not have to make any contribution if your total family income before tax is £31,139 or less in the tax year (after deducting £2,114 for each dependent child in the family including the CAT student). If your family income is more you will receive a smaller grant and you may have to make a contribution.

The table below details the means tested funding system set by the DfE for 2019/2020.
