From Monday 6 July, Dance4’s team will again be working in the building, and we can’t wait to open the wonderful facilities at our international Centre for Choreography (iC4C) for use by artists for research and rehearsals.
We feel so fortunate to have lots of space in which to work, where we can happily maintain social distancing whilst this continues to be necessary. There will be a few things that will be a bit different and we’d ask you to get in touch if you would like to come into the building and we will give you more detailed guidance.
Sadly not everything that we wanted to do in the building will be possible. However we have arranged for some of our planned residencies with national and international artists to take place remotely and we’re looking to find ways to connect the public digitally with these activities. We’ll also shortly be announcing an open callout for residency proposals. We have availability in the studios during July and August so please get in touch if you want to find out more by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also hope to re-start our participatory and training projects in the autumn. In the mean time our incredible Centre for Advanced Training students will continue to attend virtual weekly training sessions and connect in from home for a special summer intensive. Also the last virtual Little Movers in the summer term for under 5s and their families will take place online on 3 and 17 July.
