Jake Walker is a UK based artist who is interested in ways of finding new choreographic material, the use of random operations to make choices, and the ways that language is translated into movement.

Jake makes work in a number of ways including drawing, performance, sculptural installation and computer programming. Some of his interests include language and translation and using chance operations to make decisions with the use of computing, dance and sport.

For his work Library, Jake coded a computer program that generated random instructions for movement from which he picked 50 instructions to follow, Library is a film and a book showing this.
