The artists who toured with us, as part of stamping ground08 included local and national companies Levantes Dance Theatre, All Play and Groundhogs supported by a resident youth company addict dance company, a Leicester-based group of emerging, semi-professional performers.
As well as all these exciting companies, we invited a number of school, community and youth groups join us on this years tour- including The Force, Freedom Movement, HLC, T.O.L.D, QMX and many more…
Parallel to the festival tour, we ran an outreach programme, sponsored by our friends at East Midlands Airport, which offered over 20 sessions to more than 500 young people in the region. Visiting Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, the sponsorship allowed us visit a number of schools for free workshops and performances led by artists taking part in the festival.
