stamping ground07
During summer 2007, and thanks to East Midlands Airport, we were able to take the festival back out ‘on tour’ across Nottinghamshire with dates in Leicester and Derby too.
Each year we commission new or emerging artists from the region to create a new performance and workshop programme, that can be delivered over a period of one or two days at each individual festival or event.
stamping ground07 presented a live performance from our newly-formed dance company Duck Soup. The company was auditioned, mentored and supported by our friends Pete and Tom of New Art Club. They created a new show called On the blink which proved a hit with audiences of all ages.
As well as free performances, stamping ground offers a programme of workshops suitable for ages 3 19 (no experience necessary) and performances from some of the regions most promising young performers.
