Gabriele Reuter worked in the Dance4 studio over a number of weeks in January, May, and June 08 developing her first solo work titled Inventory / (Räumung), which premiered in nottdance08. The new work looks at the implications of creating a base of shared knowledge between performer and audience.  Blending text and movement with philosophies on time and space, Inventory / (Raumung) investigates the process of continuous listing, defining dance and the space in which we dance.

Gabriele studied at De Monfort University, Leicester as well as London Contemporary Dance School. She performed in nottdance06 with Frauke Requardt and has more recently been a guest teacher for our weekly contemporary class. Improvisation is at the core of her practice and Gabriele has continued to engage with our monthly improv group.
