Guy is a solo and collaborative artist whose work spans the realms of theatre, music, dance, circus and film.

Guy has created and toured five solo shows, most recently Something Or Nothing with director Sinéad Rushe and before that BottleUnsung, the Time Out award-winning Would Say Something and Travels With My Virginity, which he is currently developing for film.

Guy is also the co-director of Oogly Boogly, an improvisational event for babies and their parents and carers. It has toured internationally since 2004, has a sister company based at Dansstationen in Sweden and is widely considered to be one of the most innovative shows for young children of the past decade. The company is presently involved in an ongoing research project working with children with multiple disabilities in collaboration with Oakfield Special School, Dance4 and Nottingham Trent University Division of Psychology.

Guy is an associate artist with the international award winning Improbable, he is part of the Lone Twin Theatre Catastrophe Trilogy team and is the director of Live Heart, an inclusive improvisational ensemble whose Frameworks won a P and B Showcase award and appeared two years running at Bristol Old Vic’s Bristol Jam.

Since being part of the Choreographic Lab he has been developing an aspect of his Voicemotion work to make Physical Music films, of which Sample 4 has been presented at Nottingham Contemporary, Wallpaper Dance in Trieste and the Edit Film Festival in Budapest.

Guy recently collaborated with musicians from the Sound Movement residency at Tanzfabrik in Berlin and this year is continuing the next stage of his collaboration with deaf Japanese artist Chisato Minamimura, called Shaping Sounds, a project that explores voice, movement, sensation and acoustic technology in relationship to ‘hearing’.
