Events & Promotion Trainee

Fixed term contract 13 September – 24 December 2010  
£221 per week (equivalent to £11,500 per annum)

Dance4 is offering a 15 week traineeship to offer the opportunity for a suitable candidate to get paid experience in the dance sector and support their ambition to enter employment in the creative industries.  You will work as a member of our busy team on a range of events and marketing activities throughout the Autumn season.  
 
Successful candidates will be interested in dance, want to communicate about it, be motivated and enthusiastic.  Computers skills and 5 GCSEs A-C (including Maths and English) are required.
 
Closing date: Monday 9 August
Interview date: Monday 16 August
Candidates must be able to attend the interview date.

Shadow Dance Artist Role with Dance4

Dance4 are seeking a dance professional looking for experience to support the delivery of a youth dance project for young people in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The Ashfield Gallery 37 project will be led by Helen Stirland of Virtual Motion Dance Company.

Youth Dance Strategy Manager (maternity cover)

September 2010 - March 2011
To take a strategic role in programme delivery for Dance4’s youth dance activities and take lead responsibility for our role as Regional Partner Organisation for Youth Dance England in the East Midlands. Candidates must have a passion for developing opportunities for young people to engage in dance, experience in strategic planning and partnerships and a knowledge of current issues in the youth dance sector.

This is a re-advertisement and flexible approaches to the contract will be considered.

Salary guideline £28,755 - £36,496 pro rata

Spirit Nottingham is an innovative new partnership which aims to increase audiences across the cultural sector. An experienced marketeer is now sought to develop and deliver a marketing plan which incorporates PR and Social Media strategies, and uses traditional and on-line tools.
