Hello, my name is Chris Owen and I’m a dance artist and musician working in the north of England.

I’m currently involved in a research project with two collaborators looking at masculinity in today’s
society. The project is called In The Shadow of the Penis. I’m interested in meeting men from other walks of life to broaden my research and inform the future of the project. Therefore I would like to invite you to join me and my two collaborators for a coffee morning at Dance4's international Centre for Choreography, where we will spend the morning meeting each other and discussing anything from football to men’s health.
We will start around half ten with some informal introductions, then I will propose some questions
to get us started and gradually bring us into a discussion. You can either ask questions, just listen
or, like me, take advantage of the FREE coffee!

I’m going to leave you now with two questions and perhaps you might want to bring your answers
with you to the session, or not.

1 - does being a man make you feel powerful?!

2 - inwhat year did Nottingham Forest win the FA CUP, and a bonus point if you can name the

team they beat? No googling now.

So if you’re interested then please pop in for a chat and a warm drink.

I look forward to meeting you,

FREE but please book your place in advance
Suitable for 16+
