We have long been active in the field of research for dance, and we continuously seek to uncover unknowns and answer questions that inform the present and future practices of artists and the art form.

Housed in Birmingham Hippodrome and iC4C in Nottingham we ambitiously seek to establish FABRIC as an anchor point for choreographic research in the UK, developing outcomes that will inform the field for the benefit of makers, pedagogues, learners and audiences.

We support artists undertaking long-term choreographic practice research to support realisation and dissemination.
