The Meaning of Luan 亂...

Up until Monday I had had very little insight into this project and what it was trying to achieve, however, I am now not just involved in the creative process but my image, movements and person will be exhibited on the gallery walls when the exhibition open on Monday 16th April 2012!!

I myself am unsure of exactly how that happened…

I stepped into the space with two distinctive but separate choreographic ideas. Firstly with the idea of fabric and the fluidity it can create, the continuity of flow? Secondly with the image of martial art movement (not that I am in any way an expert).

As the morning progressed, film was taken, movement was created and my two distinctive ideas seemed to merge into one as the martial art movement became as fluid as the ripples in the fabric.

I am intrigued to see the finished result and excited to learn how the collaboration of Dance, Film, Fashion and Photography come together to unveil this innovative exhibition.
