Dance4 on Tour

We would like to come and pay you and your students a visit to start talking about what we can do for you. To give you a brief insight, our work embraces two areas:
 

  • Artistic – which includes programming and managing nottdance, our internationally recognised festival of experimental dance and performance.
  • e-Learning – a programme that focuses on three key areas around Young People, Health & Wellbeing and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Dance4 on tour involves our team coming to you to reflect on two aspects of our work. We are keen to talk to you about what our CPD programme (SHIFT) includes and any experience you may have of it so far, as well as looking at and/or getting feedback about our performance programme.   

 
Ultimately, we are hope to give you and your students an opportunity to share thoughts and ideas about how we can improve the resources we offer you, in order to  translate the challenging work we present and support in order to enhance an understanding within a higher education context.
 
We will also take the opportunity to tell you more about SHIFT and what it could offer to both students and tutors/lecturers. With this in mind, we would welcome the opportunity to:
  • Meet with lecturer(s)/ tutor(s) responsible for dance/performance curriculum and its delivery  so we can find out more about your current provision and how we could  enhance the relationship with Dance4.
  • Offer your students a professional career advice session with a member of Dance4 and one of our graduate ambassadors.
  • Lead a discussion forum to share thoughts on creating an e-learning resource aimed at both students and lecturers..
 
We anticipate that the tour will take place throughout March, April and May 08, however if this time of year is not suitable then we can be flexible to your needs.
